RG 105. GREENLEE COUNTY
Greenlee County was established March 13, 1909, as Arizonas
fourteenth county. It was named for Mason Greenlee, a Virginian who settled in
the Clifton area in 1874. It was established from the eastern portion of Graham
County, and the county seat has always been in Clifton.
