May 20, 2004- British Columbia Vital Statistics Legislation

British Columbia Bill 43, Vital Statistics Amendment Act, 2004, was passed on May 20, 2004. This bill increases time restrictions for access to birth, marriage and death records and also who may access vital records. Link to the text of the bill http://www.leg.bc.ca/37th5th/1st_read/gov43-1.htm.
