
HB1382 prohibits a public or private entity from using nonpublic
personal information about an individual for any reason without the
individual's consent. The bill defines the term "individual" to mean a
human being, including a deceased human being, and further defines the
term "nonpublic personal information" as personal information that has
not been made available to the public by or with the consent of the
individual to whom it relates.
